Our wonderful matching partners have just offered an additional $125,000 to make Lifeline’s Rays of Hope Giving Day bigger than ever!

So we now have a blue sky goal: $550,000. And every dollar donated from now until the end of the day will be DOUBLED. But we have to be quick because we only have today!

On Thursday, 24 March every donation to Lifeline will be matched for 24 HOURS ONLY.

Over the past few years, while the pandemic turned our world upside down, Lifeline’s incredible Crisis Supporters have offered rays of hope to more than one million Australians who would have otherwise faced their darkest moments alone.

On Thursday 24 March, Lifeline is asking the community to make a donation and have their gift matched thanks to the generosity of some very special matching partners: Domino’s registered charity Give for Good, and our generous friends who wish to remain anonymous.

Every dollar raised will provide rays of hope—helping Lifeline recruit, train and retain more dedicated Crisis Supporters.

The demand for crisis support has been staggering. Lifeline has received up to 3,700 calls a day—an increase of 61% from before the pandemic began.

While restrictions have eased, Australians are still dealing with the grief, loss and disruption that COVID-19 has caused. Many people are still struggling with their mental health, relationships, and income loss. We’re still picking up the pieces, and we will be for some time.
